Communication and interaction throughout the semester via the course site is expected and required.If life circumstances require students to request an extension, please do so several days before the assignment is due or as soon as possible.Late submissions will be reduced by 20% of the total points possible for that assignment.Major assignments after the book review should be submitted to Canvas (not your blog) using the file naming convention: “LastName_NameofAssignment” as a Word doc or PDF.All assignments are due on Sundays unless otherwise noted and must be turned in by 11:59 p.m.Grading will be based on 100 possible points. A represents Exceptional work a grade of “A” will be assigned for outstanding work only.Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students must maintain an SJSU Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or better (calculated by dividing grade points (GP) by units graded (UG). If -on the second attempt- you do not pass the class with a grade of B or better (not B- but B) you will be disqualified. A grade of A+ cannot exceed 4.0 grade points per California Code of Regulations, Title 5, Division 5, Chapter 1, Subchapter 2, Article 2, 40104. You must repeat the class the following semester. If the grade is less than B (B- or lower) after the first attempt you will be placed on administrative probation. B represents Good work a grade of “B” clearly meets the standards for graduate level work įor core courses in the MLIS program (not MARA) - INFO 200, INFO 202, INFO 204 - the iSchool requires that students earn a B in the course.
